Gold of Naples in Aachen

Pizza very tasty, vegetable lasagne very tasty, goat cheese salad very tasty, pizza rolls really awesome, everything sustainable in cardboard containers! What more do you want?

After we were pushed aside when trying to order by phone in the summer, we still dared to try to order online. Although a delivery time of 45 minutes was specified when ordering, this time was corrected to 85 minutes shortly afterwards. If I had known, I would not have ordered. The food was then delivered after 95 minutes, so even later. The food was almost cold. The pizza was oozing with oil and there was nothing left of any crispness. The dough had taken on the taste of the cardboard box. In addition, the edge had a rubbery consistency. The topping was extremely salty. I am aware that delivery is not optimal and that you have to compromise on quality, but overall I was hugely disappointed. I am also amazed at the award of real Neapolitan pizza. I've eaten real Neapolitan pizza that had very little in common with this one. Delivery time and quality were poor. The delivery person was very nice. That's what the one star is for.

Excellent authentic pizza. Top notch dough and toppings. The pizza may be slightly under seasoned, however they are happy to provide salt, pepper, and real garlic infused olive oil. This brought the pizza to near perfection. THE place for pizza lovers in Aachen.

Unfortunately the pizza was delivered over an hour late. But is not a problem on a Saturday evening and understandable. One of the pizzas was unfortunately very dark and therefore not edible. On request we were informed that unfortunately no replacement can be delivered because the shop was about to close. That is also not a problem. As a replacement, we were offered a voucher to be sent by post or courier. We have been waiting for the voucher for three weeks now and I do not assume that there will be anything else. Unfortunately, I cannot understand this approach. If I pay 14.50 euros for a pizza, I expect quality and service to match. Too bad for us, Gold of Naples is no longer an option.

This is how a pizza (at least a Neapolitan one) should taste like this! The service was very friendly and the food incredibly delicious. What more do you want?

The pizza was very tasty, the waiting time was short due to the special baking technique and a nice ambience. Unfortunately, the service was a bit spread out and the selection is not very large, which of course speaks for the good pizza.

Great location with high quality and exquisite ingredients. We had bruschetta and pizza. Both really great and no 0815 food! The service was also very engaging and friendly. The main course took a little long but it was also Saturday evening and fully booked! We would love to come back!

Basically, I prefer to eat pizza with a thinner batter. Still very tasty in taste, friendly staff and a nice shop. You can also go for a drink in other localities nearby. Wasn't our last visit!

The pizzas are not bad. They are Neapolitan pizzas and it is something to keep in mind. That not everyone likes. The service the time we went was leeeeeento. We ordered an antipasti that took a little over 40 'to come out and the pizzas another 50' more. So I recommend going if you don't need to eat in a hurry.

Great pizza. Nothing to complain about. The heat of the Calabrese shoots. Now my fod is burning. But it's worth it!

Delivery came after 90 minutes. Lasagna was more like half a serving and was tipped into a cardboard box. Never again!!

I am a pizza lover. And I've eaten pizza all over the world including Italy. From the most expensive restaurants to street sales. And I can say that the pizzas here are of the highest quality, and the taste is an absolute delight.

Finally a good pizzeria in Aachen. The only one, it seems. In my opinion it's not perfect (ie, I would like the central part of the dough to be thinner, perhaps slightly burned underneath), but it still deserves 5 stars. Service is friendly, ingredients are excellent, also delivery worked out fine. I really wish all the best to this pizzeria. It is a challenge to do this business in this corner of the world, where the priority seems to be cheap food for many (see the neighboring restaurants). From now on I will have a place to look forward to when coming to Aachen.

Indescribably delicious. The pizzas look a bit small at first glance, but still fill you up. The ingredients are of very high quality.

When I sit here, I pretend I'm on holiday in Italy. The pizza's are not comparable to other pizza places in our region. I can really taste that they are made with quality ingrediënts, delicious! Also, it's very nice that you offer the option of gluten free pizza dough.

Excellent pizza and super fast service. The ingredients are of quality and the dough is light. The prices are a bit high (18/20 euros for pizza and beer), but it's worth it!

Finally after a lot of research for a good Neapolitan pizza in Germany, I discovered Gold of Naples, suggested by some friends. As an Italian, I can say that the pizza is perfect, impeccable dough and seasoning. The staff are friendly and professional. Nice and welcoming place. Congratulations!!! I will be back for sure

The best Neapolitan pizzeria in Aachen and surroundings. I'm Neapolitan and I've lived here for about a year, and Gold of Naples has always brought me back to the tastes and flavors of my hometown. The pizza is excellent, the desserts also, and the service is very courteous and helpful. Highly recommended.

Am thrilled! The pizza was already there 16 minutes after the telephone order. Payment was very easy via PayPal. The pizzas looked really good and their taste was fantastic. My new favorite pizzeria in Aachen.

Very creative pizza, keeping the flavors of the traditional pizza but with a very interesting twist. The pizza was ready quite fast.

Atmosphere is really good and the presentation of the pizzas are top notch. They are Naples style with really thin base better eaten with the traditional knife and fork and less greasy for it.

The pizza, was really good, I would say very similar to the pizza in Naples. In addition to this, it was not expensive. I strongly recommend eating the pizza in gold of Naples pizzeria.

Very tasty pizza!

I’ve been there a couple of weeks after they opened up their new store. I ordered a bruschetta and a pizza Napoli, my girlfriend ordered a pizza Margarita. The service was a bit unorganized and I guess this was due to miscommunication. First, the waitress gave us menus and took the order, later on she came back to check our order since she misunderstood. The second waitress gave us a second time menus since she didn’t know that we ordered already. The bruschetta was differently made than you are used to, with a olive paste as a ground and a few tomatoes on top - personally, I would suggest: never change a running system. Freshly baked baguette, garlic, olive oil and freshly chopped tomatoes. But that’s very subjective whether you like either version better. The pizza Napoli was tasty with a nice dough and fresh ingredients, however I had to ask again whether they forgot our pizzas because the break between the starter and the main dish was super long.
